Musical experiences are an important way to help all areas of the child’s development: intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and mind to work together. Every week. our music instructor brings different kinds of instruments for our children to learn about and they also get a chance to play the instrument. Our children also learn different types of music and ways they can move their bodies along with the music. It is a great way to expose our children to carious cultures through instrument and music.
Research shows that kids who are actively involved in music:
do better in reading and math once they begin school, are able to focus more and control their bodies, play well with others, and form a higher self-esteem.
